Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin may have over-reacted to a statement from Rembau PKR division chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin, who reminded Malaysians that in 2008, there were also obscene plots using sex videos to try and topple the unpopular Khairy - just as there are now similar allegations to discredit Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.
"I am very disappointed with Khairy. For a man of his education and background, the way he has rushed to get his budak (boys) from Umno Youth to lodge police reports against me is irrational and tells us how emotional and sensitive he is over the matter," Badrul, who is also know as Chegu Bard, told Malaysia Chronicle.
"I advise him to read my statement carefully before rushing to make denials when I didn't even accuse him of being in any sex video."

Indeed, Malaysian politics has been gripped by tales and visuals of sexual exploits, DNA, sodomy and semen.
To gain the upperhand over Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister Najib Razak has been accused of steamrolling over all other considerations and even giving the green light to the government-controlled newspapers to front-page graphic pictures.
But observers say Najib may have fallen into a trap of his own making.
The sex video implicating Anwar may have lost Najib the support of the crucial Malay fence-sitters, who are disgusted by the non-stop plots to bring down Anwar.

Yet despite having been personally victimised by such a plot, Khairy did nothing to speak up on Anwar's behalf. In fact, he contributed in the needling of the older and well-respected politician, who has denied any involvement in the sex tap.
There is widespread belief that the video was a huge conspiracy hatched by Najib and the Umno elite to tarnish Anwar ahead of the General Elections.
"Confirmed. This is the tactic that the Umno elite will be using to try and destroy Anwar for the GE," Bukit Gantang MP Nizar Jamaluddin told Malaysia Chronicle.
Malaysia held national elections in 2008 and the next polls must be carried out by 2013. Najib has hinted he may call snap elections this year but because of the sex video, which has boomeranged on him, pundits believe he will now delay the GE to 2012.

Does this happen in the Ibrahim household or is this what he discusses in the Dewan Rakyat with his buddy Bung Mokhtar?
Ibrahim then said, “In Islam, wives are supposed to stop everything to fulfil their husbands' demands”.
Poor Ibrahim Ali! He really does belong in the middle ages when women waited on hand and foot and serviced their husbands like their lives depended on it. Perhaps he is our archetypal cavemen who will drag his woman by the hair into the cave to have his way with her as a means of relaxation, after a good day’s hunting.
Husbands driving home after work see things that are sexually arousing (menaikan semangat) and go to their wives to ease their urges (semangat).”
We are curious to know which route Ibrahim returns home.
Are there scantily clad women who titillate him from the windows of their homes, trying to entice him into their boudoir?
One hopes he is not making a habit out of kerb crawling and finding great difficulty rejecting the advances of these women.
Or does he, like some men, finalise the details of the contract from work, at the local equivalent of Spearmint Rhino where the latest China dolls perform their pole dancing? (Pole dancing is, perhaps, from another colleague, Harussani Zakaria’s point of view, acceptable because unlike poco-poco, does not involve aspects of Christianity or devil worshipping.)
Ibrahim Ali wanted a proper explanation as to whether wives understood their roles. He had asked during Question Time in Parliament, if the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) was doing something about educating wives on their responsibilities.
Do Muslim men value communication, respect and love in a marriage? Are they aware that both parties have to contribute? The responsibility for a marriage to work is not the woman’s only.
And unlike Ibrahim’s warped view of the world, it is not just about him (the man) and his sexual urges only.
It would be interesting to know how well Jakim ‘educates’ husbands about helping their wife with the household chores or with the children at home?
Ibrahim should take note that many women struggle with the household chores on their own, even if they were working full time. So if the wife seems tired or looks and smells like a sack of dirty laundry, then men like him should stop complaining but help out.
A harassed and dishevelled woman is a deterrent to any love-making and in Ibrahim’s eyes, would be reason enough to make him fall into the arms of another woman.
Ibrahim is the typical fickle minded man. He can’t even decide which category he wants to lump women in. He had previously said that “women have very strong sexual urges, which caused men to marry many wives.”
But now, he is saying women failed to satisfy the urges of their husbands and that men commit adultery because of this.
Insecure men like Ibrahim Ali conveniently lump domestic problems and men’s infidelities squarely on women and sex.
Perhaps men like Ibrahim should not come home and slouch in front of the television dressed in his kain pelikat, scratch his 12-pack (also known as the beer belly) and his ‘space hoppers’, and demand that his “keinginan” be satisfied.
If the Minister for Women, Family and Community Affairs prefers to remain silent about this, could she instead get physical and give Ibrahim a box on the ears for us?
People magazine confirmed the rumors from last month that Tiger Woods is in sex rehab. Because nothing cures you of your need for sex with random cocktail waitresses better than counseling. At that point, Elin called Uchitel, who answered thinking it was Woods calling.
Both sources say that Elin said something along the lines of: "I knew it was you."
"Oh f--k!" a surprised Uchitel blurted out and hung up, one source says.
Enraged, Elin woke up Woods by screaming at him. He was disoriented, still in a stupor from the Ambien, the source says.
According to the sources, Elin began hitting him on the chest and arms with her fists, and then finally chased him from the house wielding a golf club. Shoeless, he ran into the car and barreled out of the driveway before careening off a fire hydrant and then smashing into a tree, Posner reports.
Neither source knew the details of how the rear windows in the Escalade were knocked out. One source says Woods lied to police by telling them that his wife smashed them in an attempt to free him from the wreck; he wanted to protect her.
